Coach Margaret

Coach Margaret has been coaching youth sports since 1998. She has experience coaching boys and girls for 13+ years at intramural, developmental, and competitive levels ranging 5 – 18 years old.  She holds two soccer coaching licenses through NSCAA-LIJSL Regional at both the “B” & “C” levels.  She has incorporated 30+ years of soccer experience, preschool teaching experience, love of children with knowledge of the game and founded Shooting Stars Sports in 2011.  Shooting Stars Sports Long Island has quickly grown across Nassau & Suffolk Counties offering a variety of programs for your child. 

Coach Margaret volunteered as a Board Director for the Northport Cow Harbor Soccer League for seven years from 2007-2013. In 2013, she was honored with the Long Island Junior Soccer Leagues “Volunteer of the Year” award from the NCHU Soccer Club.  She was a Charity Chairperson for NCHU Columbus Tournament which raised funds for breast cancer research. She served as a Board Member on the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund for four years.  Coach Margaret has been recognized as a leader across Long Island and is the Winner of the BFCU Best of Long Island Camp Counselor for 2024 & 2025.
